Student Visas
A Student visa may be suitable for an applicant accepted onto an eligible course with a licensed student sponsor. The Child Student visa is available for eligible children attending an independent school in the UK. Some short courses and study visits may instead be possible under the visitor rules.
Visit Visas

EU, EEA and Swiss Nationals
The EU Settlement Scheme remains relevant to eligible EU, EEA and Swiss citizens and their family members. It may provide pre-settled or settled status, depending on the applicant’s circumstances. Applications made after the main deadline can be complex and may require evidence of reasonable grounds for delay where applicable.
British National (Overseas) Visas
The British National (Overseas) visa route is available to eligible BN(O) status holders from Hong Kong and certain family members. It can provide a route to live, work and study in the UK, with the possibility of settlement and British citizenship subject to the applicable requirements.
Settlement and Indefinite Leave to Remain
Indefinite leave to remain (ILR) allows a person to live in the UK without a time limit, subject to the conditions of their status. The qualifying route and residence period vary. Requirements can include continuous lawful residence, absence limits, English-language and Life in the UK requirements, and route-specific conditions.
British Citizenship and Nationality
British nationality law is complex. British citizenship may be available through naturalisation, registration, birth, descent or other statutory routes. Eligibility depends on factors including residence, immigration status, good character, parental citizenship and the law in force at the relevant time.

Some applications are made on the basis of a person’s private life in the UK, family life, compelling or compassionate circumstances, medical evidence, or exceptional circumstances under the Immigration Rules and human-rights framework. These cases require careful assessment because eligibility and the evidence required vary significantly.
Administrative Review, Refusals and Appeals
A Home Office decision may sometimes be capable of challenge. The available remedy depends on the route, the wording of the decision and the applicable law. Options can include administrative review, an appeal, a fresh application, further submissions or judicial review in limited circumstances.

The Innovator Founder visa is designed for entrepreneurs who want to establish and develop an innovative, viable and scalable business in the UK, supported by endorsement from an approved endorsing body. Depending on your experience, qualifications and plans, other options may include the Global Talent, High Potential Individual, Graduate, Skilled Worker or Global Business Mobility routes.
